The OCR will be visiting us next week. Before they come, we need to compile information on our CLD student population. First, create a list of all your CLD students. Then we need to know if they are FEP, LEP, or NEP. Make sure you include their W-APT and WIDA-ACCESS scores. On the ACCESS tests, use tiers A and B. Then write a brief description of each student's proficiency using BICS and CALP. If the students are NEP or LEP, designate whether they are in a BE or ESL program, and indicate their productive and receptive proficiency in both L1 and L2. For the students participating in the ESL program, indicate the type of instrucition they receive: SDAIE, CALLA, or SIOP. The BE/ESL Office needs this information ASAP. Thanks for your help.
